To collect, interpret and document pain assessment data.

Outcomes:
At the end of this module, the student will be able to:

1. Collect and interpret subjective and objective pain data.
   
   
2. Make judgements about the type of pain the patient experiences.
   
   
3. Document and communicate information about the pain experience that healthcare providers need to make clinical decisions
   
   
4. Use the pain measurement data to administer analgesic drugs and teach patients and families about their roles in pain management.
